Hotel Policies

Check-in Check-In is 1.00pm (13:00 hours) however we will endeavor to have rooms available at the earliest available time for those arriving on the morning transfer vessel.
Check- outCheck Out is 10.00am (10:00 hours). Late checkout is available on request and subject to availability. A guaranteed late checkout will be charged at 1 nights’ full rack rate.
PrepaymentFull payment is required and processed upon booking.
CancellationNo cancellation fee: 31 or more days prior to arrival. A full refund for accommodation and transfers will be made if cancelled with this time frame (excluding bank fees incurred). • 50% cancellation fee: 15 – 30 days prior to arrival. A full refund of transfers and partial refund of accommodation will be made if cancelled within this time frame (excluding bank fees incurred). • 100% cancellation fee: 14 days or less prior to arrival or no-show. No refund will be provided for cancellations made within this time frame or no-show. • Cancellations must be received by Barefoot Kuata Island Resort in writing. • Under no circumstances will refunds be issued in lieu of unused accommodation, island package or activities should you choose to depart from the island earlier than the departure date confirmed at the time of the original booking.
Meal PlanMeal plan is payable directly to the resort upon check-in.
Credit card payments• All Debit and Credit cards displaying Visa, MasterCard, Union Pay and American Express incur a 2% transaction administration fee.
DamagesYou are responsible for any damages caused to the resort property, including but not limited to rooms, facilities, furnishings, or any other resort-owned items. In the event of any damages, your credit card will be charged for the repair or replacement costs.
Child policyBarefoot Kuata is a family friendly island. Please let us know on booking if a cot or highchair is required. All children under 18 years old must be accompanied by a guardian.

Need-to-know information for guests at this property

A mandatory meal plan including breakfast, lunch and dinner must be purchased on the island for FJ $139 per adult, per night and FJ $70 per child between 5-12 years (There is no charge for children under 5 years of age). No alternative dining options are available.

Please note that beach towels are not included for dorm accommodation bookings, you must bring your own.

Transfers to & from Barefoot Kuata Island Resort are daily. You can book your transfers with us via the Booking.com messaging system.

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
